Word Search

A bright, themed word search. Drag across the letter grid to find hidden words about animals, space, food, the ocean and more, across three grid sizes, and try to beat your best time.

How to play

Each puzzle has a theme and a list of words hidden in the grid. Words run in a straight line: right or down on Easy, and in any of 8 directions (including backwards and diagonally) on Medium and Hard. Drag from the first letter to the last to mark a word. Find them all to finish the puzzle, then go on to the next theme. Hint briefly lights up the first letter of a word you haven't found.

Controls

Drag across letters with a mouse or finger; the selection snaps to a straight line. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move the cursor, Enter or Space to start and end a selection, and Escape to cancel. Pick Easy (8×8), Medium (10×10) or Hard (12×12) above the word list. Hint and New puzzle buttons are below it.

Your best time for each difficulty, your puzzle progress and your chosen difficulty are saved only in this browser on this device. No account, score upload or network requests are used.
