Pool Break

Top-down 8-ball pool with real ball physics: elastic collisions, cushion bounces, friction and pockets. Aim with a guide line that shows the ghost ball and where the object ball will go, pull the power bar and shoot. Full rules: break, open table, solids and stripes, fouls with ball in hand, and a legal 8 to win. Play the computer on Easy, Medium or Hard, or pass the device for 2 players.

How to play

Break the rack, then pot all balls of your group (solids 1-7 or stripes 9-15, decided by your first legal pot) before sinking the 8 ball. Hit one of your own balls first and make a ball touch a cushion or drop, or it is a foul and your opponent gets ball in hand. Potting the 8 early or scratching on it loses the game.

Controls

Drag or tap on the table to aim. Pull the power bar and release to shoot, or press Shoot. With ball in hand, drag the cue ball to place it. Keyboard: Left/Right to aim (Shift for fine), Up/Down for power, Space or Enter to shoot, Alt+arrows to move the cue ball in hand, Esc for the menu.

Runs entirely in your browser with no network requests. Settings and win stats are saved only in local storage on this device.
